Training Workshops 2008
Piccolo run four 'off the shelf' training workshops. These can
be 2 hours or 1 and 1/4 hours long and can be run as they are, or
tailored to suit your staff or organisation's needs. We can work
with small groups or large audiences, depending on the size of the
venue you have in mind. We may be able to arrange a venue or deliver
training at your premises. We also produce a range of training
resources.
With Abi's experience as a qualified NVQ trainer/assessor, the
workshops are delivered to encourage individuals to participate
as much as possible. You will not be expected to sing solo, but
you won't be able to stop yourself joining in with the singing and
actions.
We are able to deliver these workshops at your workplace, at your
national or regional conference or can be commissioned to run them
as part of your current course. We have done this for North Tyne Metropolitan
College as part of their early years training provision and also have
been commissioned by Newcastle upon Tyne Surestart as part of their
early years training programme, open to anyone working with children
(see calendar). Next available dates are
March and September 2008.
The workshop titles are:
- Successful Singing and Music sessions for children under
5 years old
- Storytelling through song
- New songs and musical fun with 2-5 year olds
- New Songs and musical Fun with Babies and Toddlers
Detailed explanations of these workshops are given below.
Please see what our clients say about
our training. If you would like us to run a workshop for you or
adapt something to suit your needs, please contact
us for costings and to discuss this further. If you haven't
seen us running our sessions, then please come along either to Jesmond
or Whitley Bay so you can get a better idea of what we do. If you
can contact us beforehand so we can
chat with you when you come, that would be great, otherwise, just
turn up on the day, with or without a child! See the session
times for more details.
