Wriggle and Giggle Picture Songbook & CD

Fourteen wonderfully illustrated songs, some traditional and some original, chosen for their wide appeal and suitability for singing with actions. All the words are clearly reproduced, together with ideas of how to enjoy the songs and which actions or games work well with them. Photographs of hand actions or movements make it easy to learn how to use the songs, whether you're singing with babies or toddlers or older children.

The accompanying CD has clearly sung, well-pitched renditions of all the songs, in a simple style with a guitar accompaniment and basic percussion. A friendly penguin can be tracked down on most pages, asking a question of the child reader, such as Do you like being tickled? or How many noses can you see? - perfect for prompting conversation and discussion of the colourful illustrations. The book is aimed at anyone caring for babies or children under 6 years old. It includes help and advice on how to bring the songs alive and explains why music and song have such a positive role to play in any child's life.
