Dance Baby Sing - Bounce 2 3 4
This is a familiar tune (Frere Jacques), an easy song to play with
a baby bouncing on your knee, or if you are standing up, bouncing
by bending your own knees. Good fun in a baby bouncing chair too,
or a door mounted baby bouncer.

Hip Hop Happy - The Big Ship Sailed
This song works with children and adults in pairs, older children
facing each other and babies on laps facing outwards with their
backs resting against your tummy or if they are strong enough, sitting
on your raised and bent knees facing you; you can always make big
boats with several children inside them!
Another idea is to make a boat from a laundry basket or plastic
storage box and push your child around during each chorus. A Captain's
hat adds to the fun, and falling out when you 'dip heads in the
sea'. Good fun in the bath too!
| The big ship sails... |
|
row boat with partner
|
| Chorus: alley alley o, alley oh, on the last day
of September. |
|
wave arms up and down to make wavey motion,
alternating each side
|
| The captain said.... |
|
shake finger sternly, and salute the Captain
|
| Chorus: alley alley o, alley oh, on the last day
of September. |
|
wave arms up and down to make wavey motion,
alternating each side
|
| The big ship sank to the bottom of the sea.... |
|
fall backwards into the sea, waving legs up
in the air, if babies are on laps, tip them backwards and tickle!
|
| Chorus: alley alley o, alley oh, on the last day
of September. |
|
wave arms up and down to make wavey motion,
alternating each side
|
| We all dip our heads in the deep blue sea..... |
|
bend forward holding nose and dip heads in
the sea. Babies on laps -you can dip your head in their tummies
to tickle them. |
| Chorus: alley alley o, alley oh, on the last day
of September. |
|
wave arms up and down to make wavey motion,
alternating each side
