Dance Baby Sing - 1 2 3 Whee!

This is best sung two or three times in a row. It works well either with just you and your baby or in small circles of a few adults holding babies facing into the circle or holding toddlers' hands up, standing behind them. Toddlers can also form circles on their own as they become more confident

123 Whee! X 2		swing baby into the centre to 'meet babies opposite
Round and round we go as happy as can be		turn around, each in their own circle or carrying babies
Swinging in my arms until the music stops		swing the baby or toddler from side to side then hold them still for a pause
A tickle under here and then a kiss from me		tickle the baby and then kiss them

Shake Rattle and Sing - Row Row Row your boat

This song works with children and adults in pairs, older children facing each other and babies on laps facing outwards with their backs resting against your tummy, but you can always make big boats with several children inside them! Some children like to'Row Row' with a favourite doll or teddy.

Row … stream…dream		row boat with partner
Row …river…shiver!		row boat and shiver at the end
Sail….sea….tea		hold both arms straight up above head and sway
Rock…fro…go....		rock from side to side
SPLASH!		fall out of boat
Row…stream…scream -		row boat in a hurry and scream at the end
