Please reserve you place with us if you are hoping to come – this will help us to plan the event. However you can pay on the door, subject to space., although we cannot guarantee the use of a Ukulele unless you book ahead.

What will we be doing on 27th March?

We will be running a beginner ukulele workshop! We are enthusiastic advocates of the Ukulele, that cute four stringed guitar, just perfect for singing along to with children and adults alike. It’s much easier to learn than a guitar, and ideal for  those who have not learned a musical instrument before. We know, from experience working with adults in the Early Years sector, and the adult learner’s groups we’ve run, that you can get off the starting blocks very quickly and be singing and playing some great songs in only an hour! Nursery and Piccolo songs are great starters – many of them only need you to master 3 chords. Then we can add in some good old busking standards and we’re away! So you can borrow one of our set of 15 ukes and learn a few chords, and be singing a few songs by the end of the evening.
