St Teresa's RC Church Hall, Heaton Road, Heaton, Newcastle NE6 5HN

By car: From the coast road (A1058) out of Newcastle you need to turn right off the main road at Chillingham road because you can't take a right at the Corner House pub directly into Heaton Road. Head South along Chillingham Road and a few hundred yards along you take a right hand turn up either Alexandra Road or Cartington Terrace, and these streets take you onto Heaton Road. At the junction with Heaton Road turn left and continue past a large church on your left at the end of Rothbury Terrace. Soon after this the Church Hall is on the right hand side of the road, just on a bend near a traffic island. You can park on Heaton Road or you can drive into the Heaton Park free car park, (marked with a Cul-de-Sac sign) a short walk down this lane, which turns off to the right just before the Church Hall.

If you are coming FROM the coast, you can drive all the way along the A1058 to the last junction, with the Corner House Pub, and bear left onto Heaton Road. Go straight along about 1/4 mile or less until you see the Church Hall on the right, just on a bend near a traffic island.

By Metro: The nearest stop is Chillingham Road. Once off the Metro make your way to Chillingham Road itself and walk along it northwards (away from the Shields Road), over the Metro Lines and on until you reach a right hand turn marked Meldon Terrace. It is just after 8th 9th and 10th Avenues. Walk along Meldon Terrace and at the end, this street meets Heaton Road. The Church Hall is nearly opposite you on the far side of Heaton Road and you can cross at the traffic island. It is probably 10-15 minutes walk and about half a mile in distance.
