Have your own Piccolo inspired Birthday Party!

Allison Ferris, who many of you will know from our Heaton sessions, can now bring the fun and games of a musical party to your home or to your party venue, giving your baby or child a very special birthday treat. With a Piccolo singing session, an art/craft activity for toddlers and older children, games for all ages, stories, puppets and lots of laughter, Allison is the ideal party girl for your celebration. With a choice of either asking Allison to arrange all the entertainment or just to visit and lead a Piccolo session, you can sort out the party to suit your baby or child		Allison Ferris, who leads parties in Newcastle, Gateshead and Tyne and Wear.

What's the cost for a two hour party?
The introductory price is £75, for venues within a 10 mile radius of Gateshead town Centre. Between 10 and 20 miles away incurs a travel charge of £10 and between 20 and 25 miles away incurs a travel charge of £15.
What does the party include?
It includes a Piccolo style singing session, without guitar, led by Allison, plus musical games and movement, art and craft, storytelling/puppets. The party will be tailored to suit the age of the children attending, and the size of the venue. You can talk through ideas for activities with the party leader who will try to incorporate any suggestions you have. All equipment is provided by Abigail's parties. You will need to arrange food, birthday cake, games prizes if necessary, venue and invitations.
How many Children does this cater for?
The maximum number of children is 12. If you are planning a larger party, an additional party leader can be booked for a further fee of £20, enabling you to invite up to 20 children. The party host would need to be on hand to help children to join in, use toilets etc. For children three years and under a parent or carer would need to stay at the party with the child.
What's the cost for a Piccolo singing session at a party organised by the child's family?
We can attend your baby or child's party to deliver a Piccolo singing session of 40 minutes either at your home or at a venue arranged by you. The cost of this is £50. Between 10 and 20 miles away incurs a travel charge of £10 and between 20 and 25 miles away incurs a travel charge of £15.
What does the singing session include?
We would sing a mixture of songs including (depending on the age) actions songs, clapping games, swinging songs, circle songs, instrument songs, songs with puppets and a quiet song to finish with. The session is lively singing (without guitar) led by Allison and we will provide instruments for the children to use.
How many Children does this cater for?

The party host would need to be on hand to help children to join in, use toilets etc. For children three years and under a parent or carer would need to stay at the party with the child.
Are all leaders CRB checked and insured?
Yes, Abigail's parties leaders are insured through Soundsense,(Community Musician's network). All leaders are CRB checked and experienced with working with babies, young children and their families.
I want to book a party, what do I do now?
You need to ring Piccolo Music on 0191 2528765 or e mail us and we can talk you through the booking process. You will be sent a confirmation and invoice which needs to be paid in advance of the party in order to confirm the booking. You can pay either by cheque, in cash at Piccolo sessions, or using Paypal.

Your child could win a Birthday CD!

All you have to do is enter their birth date into our free monthly draw. Just send us your child's name, address and birthday by e-mail, and we will add their name to our calendar. Each month we will pick a day of the month 'out of the hat', and any child born on that date will receive a CD from Piccolo for their birthday. We will post it out at the end of the month, so it will be a late birthday surprise! Your child's birthday will be kept in the hat until they are 4 years old. Remember to let us know if you move house...

CDs for Party Bags

Piccolo Birthday CD

We can provide tailor-made CDs for your child's party, with six of our favourite Piccolo songs and your child's name and birthday on the label, in a clear cellophane sleeve, for only £2 each. The minimum order is 10 CDs. Just fill in the Birthday CD order form, post it to us with a cheque (or hand it in at Piccolo), and we'll do the rest!

N.B. You will need to collect the CDs from Anna and Abi at Piccolo, or from Anna in Cullercoats. We can also send them by post subject to an additional charge (see order form). At least 21 days' notice of any order is needed.
